We had the perfect long weekend get away for 2! The beach wasn’t crowded in April, but still walkable distance to grab a drink on the beach at Pineapple Willy’s! They provide beach chairs which is super convenient!

We stayed at Top of the Gulf in a small condo unit. It was clean, location was great, and easy instructions to check in and out. We had an issue with a wobbly bed which we messaged about and ended up just using an Allen wrench to tighten up the loose leg although they respond they would absolutely come and fix it so the response was quick and readily available. The only issue was that beach chair service was listed as an amenity and when we went to use it, we were told it was not, a little disappointed but we made do. Overall a great experience and we would stay again.

Upon check in I always inspect the property and take pictures of previous damage and any little things I find. The door knobs are way outdated and do not lock, the ac filter looks like it had not been changed in years, you can see visible cracks in the ceiling and the molding along with some mold in the bathroom and living room area, only 2 of the 4 eyes on the stove worked, the oven smoked like crazy, the previous tenants left a clump of food in the dishwasher and it smelt horrible, the stove hood fan did not work either. The place really needs to be updated it has really<br/>Old fixtures and a horrible smell. Also, we were no told that there was construction going on during this time so we had ropes hanging from the balconies and 1 pool was totally closed due to the construction. Issues were discussed with the host and they did do what they could to make it right. Overall we had fun but the room needs work and needs to be updated.

This condo was great. The views from the 5th floor were amazing and the rooms view was also just immaculate! It was very clean, not a speck of dirt or dust😁. Everything was in order and working properly. After being out and about all day we were always so excited to get back to the condo to relax!We will definitely stay here again in the future!

I halfway expected the pictured view to be some trick of perspective but I was pleasantly surprised by the beautiful view of the beach just below. The unit itself appears to be freshly remodeled and was just as shown. The beach was absolutely beautiful and only a few steps away. This was a perfect space for a weekend trip!

As we walked in the place looked perfect! Me and my Fiancé had stayed here to celebrate our 4 year anniversary and has a blast! He proposed on the very beach the rental has to offer us!! I would very much recommend this place for a couples stay!! The place felt right as home and we completed a fun puzzle and played some games during our stay, plenty of amenities to do around us and quite a lovely time on the beach!!

This 3rd floor studio condominium has been renovated and is perfect! With an incredible view of the beach and coffee station it is hard to beat! Beautifully designed and decorated with shiplap walls, beachy decor, and an abundance of natural light to give you a perfect sense of peace and quiet away from the hustle and bustle.

My experience with Airbnb at this property was extremely disappointing. A resort fee was charged separately and should have been clearly included in the initial booking cost. Upon arrival, we discovered the bed frame was broken and reported it immediately at 6 PM on the day of check-in. The host showed little concern and did not address the issue until after noon the following day. When the contractor arrived, his dismissive attitude—asking how we slept—was unacceptable, especially given the obvious dip in the mattress and the inadequate twin-size futon provided as an alternative.<br/>Additionally, despite notifying the host that a guest worked from home, construction noise began early each morning, with loud yelling and banging that disrupted the stay. Cleanliness was also subpar, with visible yellow stains on white bedding. The unit failed to maintain a comfortable temperature—the air did not get cold, and the water did not get hot.<br/>Overall, this was an unacceptable experience.

Guest tried to get a full refund for something very minor that was fixed the next day. We were notified late at night and the next morning stopped to see the issue, we found a brace was broken on the bed, we then went to get the material and fixed. The guest was very happy when we were there so interesting they leave such an unfair review, but it shows they only wanted something for free. Quite sad and reported to ABNB and banned from renting from us again.

When we arrived, the room smelled like weed and was very hot. Even after lowering the temperature, it never cooled properly. The AC unit kept shutting off and restarting every minute or two and was very loud throughout our stay. We could also hear water running through the walls. The mattress was badly sunk in the middle, causing us to lay at an angle instead of flat. Before leaving, we stripped the sheets and noticed the mattress cover was heavily stained with large yellow spots, including along the sides. This was very upsetting, as we expect rentals to be clean and sanitary. We were required to be out by 9:00 AM, but at 8:30 AM the cleaning staff entered the room without knocking or announcing themselves. Thankfully, I had just finished getting dressed. Thought that was very unprofessional and rude. Needless to say the view of the beach was nice. But, we won’t be booking this location again.
